Anisha Gordhan

Anisha is currently the CEO of Pan-African Capital Holdings Proprietary Limited and has 15 years experience in the private equity industry. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Natal (Durban) and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School where she completed an executive MBA. Anisha’s career began as a management consultant a top-tier consultancy in the Strategy and Innovation division working with blue-chip and public sector clients for 7 years. She was then head-hunted by Investec Bank Limited to restructure some of the Private Bank operational areas. Anisha joined the Investec Principal Investments team, the on-balance sheet private equity investment division of Investec where her role spanned across originating, structuring and negotiating and executing transactions. Anisha’s experience with many private equity companies has equipped her with extensive experience and networks across the private equity investment value chain. In January 2016, Investec’s private equity portfolio was sold to an investment holding company called Investec Equity Partners (now the BUD Group). In 2017, Anisha was appointed co-CEO of a black-owned, black women-owned private equity fund, Sana Partners.

The combination of her strategy consulting and private equity investment experience has enabled her to make effective contributions to companies to help them grow and remain sustainable through difficult economic downturns. Anisha served on about 18 boards of companies including the DCD Group, Elgin, Brown and Hamer Group Holdings, Vox Telecom, Spring Lights Gas, FFS Refiners and the Afrit Group.
