EKUKHANYENI – Relief Project
In partnership with Ekukhanyeni Relief Project, AOS is proud to sponsor another year of the “Vukani Kids” early childhood development programme (meaning rise and shine).
This excerpt from the quarterly report shares some of the moments from the ECD programme which touches the lives of over 400 children aged 3 to 4 years. Vukani Kids is one of two formal early childhood development programmes which aims to adequately prepare children from the informal settlement of Lawley ext 3 for main-stream schooling, giving them the much-needed foundation upon which to cement their education.
We are proud to be associated with such a wonderful initiative, for the energy, enthusiasm and determination of the children and for our learning facilitators who put so much love and care to educating our future leaders.
